Memorial Day weekend with our Bay Area Buddies

Jeanne, Ken, Lunchi & Sharon, Joyce & Andrew flew up from the bay area to visit us and Emil over Memorial Day weekend (end of May).  We were blessed with beautiful weather throughout and had a fabulous time hanging out and enjoying the sights around Seattle.  How we miss them!

Will's colleague gave us tickets to a WNBA (women's professional basketball) game since we've never been.  It was a fun & wholesome time!  Can't really say the same for the food...

We went to dinner at Coho after our hike.  We decided to order pretty much all the appetizers on the menu to share - tapas style!

 

Attempt at Franklin Falls

This past Sunday, we tried to hike to Franklin Falls.  We not only didn’t realize there was still snow on the ground, we embarked on the wrong trail to begin with.  Um…yea…no one in our group of six saw the sign…
