Happy Birthday Masaru-san!

We celebrated Mas’ birthday at Mashiko, a Japanese restaurant in West Seattle.  The guys ordered omakase style (leave selection to the chef) and they had some interesting servings….

May Hike

Wallace Falls State Park is within an hour drive from Seattle in the city of Gold Bar off highway 2.  There are a total of three waterfalls that make up Wallace Falls: lower, middle and upper.  We were blessed with warm and sunny weather.  It was a beautiful hike and very manageable.  We are rating this hike as one of our top 5.

Always start your hike with a little yummy in your tummy (in this case, Antje’s homemade spam musubi)
