Life after TV

After much serious consideration, we decided to cut our cable subscription about a week ago. Hmm…with no TV to watch at night, what has Will been up to?

Monday, he cleaned out the vent in the shower and it now purrs like a kitten…

Tuesday, he installed a timer for the vent – waah so high tech!

Wednesday, he drilled a peephole for the front door so we know who’s come a-knockin’.

Thursday, he installed a motion sensor for the light in our walk-in closet

Friday, he started cutting coupons from newspapers…we are going to be rich!

Norah Jones in concert

On a whim, we decided to go see Norah Jones since somehow tickets became available again 2 nights before her previously-sold-out-one-night-only-concert in Seattle.  It turned out to be my favorite concert thus far.  I love her new look, her new style, her new band and her new album!

April Hike – Rattlesnake Ledge

Our April hike was a small, rather impromptu hike up to rattlesnake ledge with our friends A&B. We’ve done this hike several times before but due to peer pressure from A&B, who are super fit, I tried not to embarrass myself and took only one water break during the switchbacks that paved the way up to the top.  I could barely catch my breath while A&B did not even break a sweat.
