After a nice ramen lunch with KC, YC and Yihong, we met up with Emil and his mom for a leisurely afternoon stroll in Lincoln Park along the waters. Afterwards, we stopped by our favorite Bakery Nouveau for some twice baked almond croissants and baguettes. We didn’t take any pictures but I pulled a couple from their website. Looks delish ya?!

Markus and Evelyn invited us to join them for an afternoon picnic by Lake Kachess where they will camp for the night. It is about a 40 min drive from our place right over the cascade mountains. The weather held up and we enjoyed a nice, low-key get together by the fire.
