There were many street vendors (literally) peddling charcoal grilled yam. The aroma was too good to resist.
We found these food stalls at the basement of a shopping mall which offer favorites from both my hometowns - Singapore's Bee Cheng Hiang barbequed pork and America's Fast Food Chains.
We got brave and decided to take a chance on the onion pancakes and some sweet fried doughy thingy from the street hawkers. We tried to ignore the fact that the hawkers went from handling the cash straight to rolling the dough. Glad we didn't get sick.
