Camping at Neah Bay

We spent the latter half of our one week vacation with old friends from the bay area, Ken, Lunch and Sharon.  They got in Friday evening and we set off for Neah Bay in the Makah Indian Reservation bright and early on Saturday morning. image  2010-05-29 2010-05-29 002 002 copy

After dinner, we checked out Neah bay, a stone’s throw across from where we had set up tent2010-05-29 2010-05-29 001 011 2010-05-29 2010-05-29 001 018 2010-05-29 2010-05-29 001 031 2010-05-29 2010-05-29 001 049 2010-05-29 2010-05-29 001 063

We then took a quick drive to Cape Flattery and after a short hike, we came upon one of the most beautiful site I’ve ever seen!2010-05-29 2010-05-29 001 079 2010-05-29 2010-05-29 001 083 2010-05-29 2010-05-29 002 134 copy[4] 2010-05-29 2010-05-29 001 111 2010-05-29 2010-05-29 001 118 2010-05-29 2010-05-29 001 142 2010-05-29 2010-05-29 002 152 copy[4] 2010-05-29 2010-05-29 001 147

On our hike back, someone came up with the great idea of using a flash light and a really long exposure to take some ‘creative’ pictures. We spent over an hour trying to capture the perfect shot.2010-05-29 2010-05-29 002 164 copy[4] 2010-05-29 2010-05-29 002 165 copy
