Shi Shi Beach & Point of the Arches

On the second day of our camping trip, we hiked along Shi Shi beach up to Point of the Arches.  Shi Shi beach is widely acclaimed as one of the most pure, wild and untainted beach in the Olympic Peninsula.  It was a very challenging hike because of the constant drizzle throughout our 11 mile hike which rendered the trails very muddy, some spots up to mid-calf! We were thoroughly soaked by the end of the day but we all managed to keep our spirits up…it will be unforgettable, that’s for sure!
